| The University continues to monitor the confirmed case of Mumps in one of its students. Working with the DHH Office of Public Health, all close contacts associated with the confirmed case have been identified and are being screened at this time. No new cases of Mumps have been identified. The University wishes to encourage its students and employees to monitor their own health, paying close attention to the symptoms of Mumps, which are: | |||||||||||||||||||
| Fever Headaches Body aches Fatigue Loss of appetite Swollen or tender salivary glands under the ears, jaw, or on either side of the face |

| Remember that these symptoms may not manifest themselves for up to 25 days after any exposure. Students and employees are also encouraged to consult their vaccination records, and if necessary, obtain the Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccination from the Office of Public Health. | |||||||||||||||||||
